Arizona Licensed Inpatient Coding Supervisor

Overseeing workflow and productivity for health record coding, the full-time Arizona Licensed Inpatient Coding Supervisor will manage coding processes, ensure compliance with billing standards, and provide leadership to the coding team in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Establishes policies and procedures for inpatient and outpatient coding to standardize best practices Serves as a resource for coding staff, coordinating educational forums and ensuring compliance with third-party billing activities Monitors and improves the Discharge Not Final Billed (DNFB) process to ensure timely reimbursement and billing Required qualifications Active certification as CCS, CIC, RHIT, or RHIA Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient coding lead, auditor, or trainer roles Experience with coding and encoding software for at least 3 years Knowledge of hospital inpatient and outpatient billing processes Associate's degree or 2 years of related work experience; Bachelor's preferred
