Arizona Licensed Authorization Representative

To support a fast-paced remote authorization team, the full-time Arizona Licensed Authorization Representative will obtain and complete insurance authorization requests, verify patient insurance benefits, and document account information to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials. Key responsibilities: Accurately complete authorization initiation requests with payers for all service lines and validate existing authorizations Provide necessary information regarding authorization numbers and maintain records of all referral activity and authorizations Respond to provider orders for tests and procedures, obtaining authorizations and verifying patient demographic information Required qualifications: High school diploma or GED is required Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or authorizations Advanced abilities in common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high productivity standards with minimal errors Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
