Arizona Licensed Accounting Manager

To support the finance and accounting team, the full-time Arizona Licensed Accounting Manager will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee month-end and year-end closes, and supervise a team of accountants in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle, ensuring timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes for assigned markets Supervise, train, and mentor staff and senior accountants while processing and approving transactions in General Ledgers Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls, and support year-end audits and financial reporting packages Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting with an active CPA license 5+ years of public accounting or 8+ years of private industry accounting experience, including management experience Thorough understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal control environments Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity in a newly formed entity
