This is a hands-on regional leadership role overseeing three market-rate apartment communities across the Triad and Charlotte markets, a few hours apart by car. You'll have real ownership over how these properties run - building out on-site teams, tightening up operations, and putting your own stamp on the portfolio’s performance. There's also a clear path for growth here: the company plans to bring two more properties in-house over the next 6-12 months, and this role will grow to take them on.
If you like building strong teams and have a sharp eye for where operations can run better, this is a great fit.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take direct operational ownership of three Class B/C market-rate communities, splitting your time across all of them
- Recruit, hire, and train on-site teams - including bringing on a new Property Manager and coaching them through their first few months
- Step in and run day-to-day operations hands-on at any site that needs it
- Spot and act on opportunities to improve performance, tighten budgets, and strengthen team operations across the portfolio
- Review monthly financials, budgets, and variance reports across all three properties
- Own rent growth and pricing strategy input for the portfolio
- Handle resident relations escalations and stay ahead of turnover, leasing, and make-ready timelines
- Travel regularly between the Triad and Charlotte markets to stay hands-on at each site
- Take on additional properties as the company grows its in-house portfolio over the next 6-12 months
WHY YOU MATTER
This portfolio needs someone who builds strong teams and knows how to make operations run better, with real backing from ownership to do it right. It's a chance to put your mark on a growing portfolio and set the standard for how it's managed going forward.

- 5 years of multi-site multifamily property management experience
- Proven track record operating Class B and Class C market-rate assets

- Working knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing requirements
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly between sites
- Steady, calm decision-making and a knack for spotting ways to improve how things run
THE PERKS!
- $100,000- $130,000 per year
- Monthly car allowance for the regional travel
- Performance bonus structure
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- Health Sharing Accounts
