MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time, permanent role with an esteemed acute-care facility near Brownwood, Texas.
Salary Range: $61,768 - $85,429 annually
Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are comfortably positioned for ultrasound exams, focusing on their well-being throughout the process.
• Device Operation: Operate ultrasound equipment skillfully to capture clear images of internal structures.
• Image Review: Examine ultrasound images to aid in diagnostics and inform treatment planning.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures, and diagnostic results.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members to interpret imaging and enhance patient care.
• Equipment Upkeep: Manage the calibration and maintenance of ultrasound equipment, resolving technical issues as needed.
• Patient Interaction: Guide patients through the procedure, answer questions, and provide instructions for post-procedure care.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
• A minimum of one year of experience in ultrasound.
• Certification by ARRT or ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or ARDMS.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and respect for patient confidentiality.
