ARDMS Sonographer - Full Time

MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, upholding high imaging standards while delivering exceptional patient care.
Primary Responsibilities for a Sonographer:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examinations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.
Qualifications for a Sonographer:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification by the ARDMS (AB) (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.
  • 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician ( preferred, not required ).
  • Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
