Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Skillfully operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
