Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout
- Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
- Handle and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of any issues
- Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records electronically
- Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
