Your Key Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout exams, providing clear explanations with empathy
- Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and meticulous maintenance of patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging procedures and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
