Architectural Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage architectural team of project architects and architectural designers.
• Coordinate with Civic Department Leader to develop department initiatives to control quality, risk, and delivery of technical aspects of produced work.
• Coordinate within-house multi-disciplinary design teams on projects throughout all stages, from concept to delivery.
• Be client-centered and results-oriented.
• Develop scope of work and proposals for small to medium size projects.
• Oversee multiple projects and clients at a time.
• Possess an understanding of local building codes and zoning regulations.
• Prioritize team for multiple clients and projects and deliverables.
• Oversight and assistance with the development of plans and specifications for new construction projects, remodeling existing structures, or improving the functionality of existing space.
• Create, manage, and produce projects for a wide range of market sectors.
• Assist in the growth and retention of the architectural department.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Collaborating with firm leadership, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture from NAAB school
• Registered Architect
• Experience with CPSM and DEB is a bonus
• Current U.S. Passport or ability to obtain passport
