As an Architect / Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of project execution—balancing design vision, technical precision, and client expectations to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions.Beyond project delivery, this role offers the chance to contribute to studio growth, mentor emerging professionals, and influence project strategy at a leadership level. You will work closely with senior leadership while operating in a collaborative, team-first culture that values initiative, accountability, and design excellence.Core ResponsibilitiesLead architectural design and project management across all phases, from concept through construction administrationServe as the primary client interface, managing relationships and guiding project directionDevelop and oversee architectural documentation, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailsInterpret and apply building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate multidisciplinary teams, including structural, mechanical, and electrical consultantsManage project budgets, contracts, schedules, and resource allocationConduct design reviews, redline drawings, and ensure quality control across all deliverablesCollaborate with contractors and field teams to implement design changes during constructionLead internal coordination meetings and external client/consultant engagementsMentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented studio environmentRequired QualificationsLicensed Architect (RA) required10+ years of progressive experience in architecture, interior design, or related fieldStrong experience in retail and/or commercial project typesDeep knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction systemsProven ability to manage projects from inception through constructionAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong project management, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and schedulePreferred QualificationsExperience leading teams and mentoring junior staffFamiliarity with mixed-use or large-scale commercial developmentsExperience managing multiple concurrent projects and complex client relationshipsExposure to Revit or BIM workflowsStrong design sensibility combined with technical expertiseAbout Luxus | AEC Talent PartnersLuxus is an exclusive AEC recruiting firm managing this search.
