We are seeking engineers capable of developing, designing, and deploying highly scalable, reliable applications, tools, and automation frameworks to efficiently handle the vast volume of content in our pipeline.About the roleAs a Senior Software Engineer on Roku's streaming applications team, you will be a key contributor responsible for architecting, designing, and building high-impact streaming experiences across multiple connected TV platforms.

You will drive technical excellence by leading architectural decisions and setting the strategic direction for frontend development across platforms, including Google/Android TV, Fire TV, and Samsung. This role requires close collaboration with product, UX, and engineering teams to define scope, make product decisions, and influence cross-team alignment. You will champion innovation and AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate development and elevate code quality. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern web frameworks, media playback technologies, and consumer application development at scale.
