ArcGIS Enterprise Solutions ArchitectWe are seeking an experienced ArcGIS Enterprise Solutions Architect with 5–7 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise geospatial systems. This role is responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing ArcGIS Enterprise environments, developing and guiding enterprise GIS strategies, and integrating geospatial capabilities into broader organizational IT and business workflows. This position will also participate in establishing geospatial governance frameworks, including defining Enterprise vs.

Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call "Dewberry at Work," that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement ArcGIS Enterprise architectures, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, and Enterprise GeodatabasesDevelop system architecture diagrams and deployment strategies for cloud and on-prem environmentsConfigure and manage ArcGIS Enterprise environments to meet performance, scalability, and security requirementsIntegrate ArcGIS platforms with enterprise systemsSupport deployment automation and DevOps practices for geospatial systemsProvide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and junior staffPerform system performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshootingCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsEnsure QA/QC and adherence to enterprise GIS standards and best practicesEstablish and implement GIS governance frameworks, including roles, policies, and decision-making structuresDevelop and maintain policies for data access, sharing, security, and metadata managementSupport the alignment of GIS initiatives with organizational priorities and strategyRequired Skills & Required ExperienceRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5–7 years of experience in GIS with a focus on enterprise systemsStrong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, and Enterprise Geodatabases)Experience with ArcGIS Online and hybrid deploymentsExperience with cloud platforms (Azure)Experience with security protocols and identity management (AD, SSO)Experience with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)Knowledge of web services (REST, APIs) and system integrationStrong understanding of system architecture and infrastructure designPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell)Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience supporting utilities, infrastructure, or government clientsKey CompetenciesSystems thinking and architecture designProblem-solving, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to lead technical teams and mentor staff*At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.*Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
