Job OpportunityContract to Hire – Accounts Receivable Accountant Location: Fort Mill, SC Schedule: Onsite Compensation: $28–$32/hour Position Type: Contract to Hire Our manufacturing client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to support daily AR operations and cash application activities. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts, assisting with collections efforts, and supporting accounting operations within a growing manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess customer invoices and apply cash receiptsMonitor customer accounts and aging reportsAssist with collections and customer account follow upReconcile AR balances and investigate discrepanciesMaintain accurate customer billing recordsSupport month end close and reporting activitiesPartner with internal teams regarding billing and payment issuesPrepare and maintain AR related reportsEnsure compliance with company procedures and controlsQualifications2+ years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experienceManufacturing industry experience preferredExperience with billing, cash applications, and reconciliationsERP system experience preferredIntermediate Excel skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work onsite in Fort Mill, SC
