We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat disorders affecting human movement. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive care plans for patients ranging from newborns to the elderly, ensuring optimal outcomes through expert physical therapy interventions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Adhere to established mission, vision, and values while maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain professional communication and collaborative relationships with patients, families, healthcare teams, and external agencies.
• Perform duties within the scope of practice as defined by licensing authorities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in unit-specific competencies, policies, and procedures.
• Accurately assess patient needs and develop, implement, review, and maintain individualized care plans.
• Provide education to patients regarding their physical care and therapy.
• Complete timely and precise documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
• Offer clinical oversight and guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants.

General Responsibilities

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory or management duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
• Current Physical Therapy license through the appropriate state board.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements if driving is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar clinical environment is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements

This role involves medium work, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs and frequently up to 10 lbs. Expect to stand or walk 26-50% of the workday, with or without accommodation.
