Accredited Physical Therapist

Join a dedicated team of therapists in a supportive, low-stress environment offering flexible scheduling to promote a healthy work-life balance. This role primarily focuses on outpatient care (approximately 95%) with occasional inpatient support during outpatient cancellations or no-shows. Enjoy 45-minute appointment slots that allow for personalized, one-on-one patient care, leading to high patient satisfaction and repeat visits.

Essential Job Functions

• Possess strong knowledge of physical medicine, therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
• Operate, maintain, and repair physical therapy equipment as needed.
• Provide leadership and direction to certified Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides within the department.
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans to improve strength, flexibility, range of motion, motor control, and alleviate pain, discomfort, and swelling.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and recommend adjustments to physicians when necessary.
• Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, geriatrics, and the general population.
• Identify pain levels that interfere with rehabilitation and coordinate with physicians for appropriate interventions.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program or college/university with a Physical Therapy certificate.
• Current valid State Physical Therapy License required.
• Clinical internships in both outpatient and inpatient settings completed during education.
• Preferred: One or more years of experience in comprehensive physical therapy practice.

• Demonstrate punctuality and complete work within designated timelines.
• Exhibit strong communication skills with patients, guests, and staff, fostering a courteous and respectful environment.
