We are a privately owned practice seeking a team player who is passionate about patient care.Job roles include but are not limited to:Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patientsPerforms annual wellness visits for Medicare patientsPerforms preoperative physicalsOrders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's specific needsPrescribes appropriate medicationsAdministers injectionsPerforms and/or assists minor surgical procedures as qualifiedObtains wound and other cultures as indicatedCollaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referralsFacilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational toolsRequirements:Core Competencies/Skill Sets:Strong communication skillsAble to use sound judgmentBilingual (English and Spanish) skill preferredProfessional Experience/Educational Requirement:Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant in the State of CTHealthcare experienceCertification/LicensureCurrent provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS); CPR certified
