Apprentice Security InstallerThe Apprentice Security Installer works under the observation of the Lead Installer, building basic skills and gaining additional experience and responsibilities through hands-on training. Assists with project site installation and service of security, access control, fire alarm, CCTV and integration technology.Responsibilities:Installing field devices (cameras, alarm devices, card readers, etc.)Troubleshooting systems and electronicsAssist in pulling low voltage cable and various wiringInstalling cable in new and retrofit commercial construction environmentsInstalling support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)Additional duties as assignedSkills/Qualifications:One year of electrical experience preferredBasic electrical and mechanical skillsFamiliar with electrical schematics and blueprintsComfortable with electrical testing equipmentAbility to take direction and follow all safety protocolsMust have reliable transportation as travel is required
