Job Position: Apprentice Plumber
Location: Destrehan, LA 70047
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Learn and apply techniques for pipe fitting, soldering, and threading under supervision.
- Help with diagnosing plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
- Support the installation of water heaters, drainage systems, and other plumbing appliances.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assist in plumbing tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to complete assignments.
- Transport materials and tools to job sites as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in the plumbing trade.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to adhering to safety standards and guidelines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent (commonly expected but not mandatory).
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
