Apprentice PlumberThe Apprentice Plumber assists the supervisor in the maintenance and operations of all plumbing systems in the district. High school graduate or GED required. 1+ years of plumbing experience preferred.
Apprentice license preferred. Able to read blueprints and schematics. Dependable and cooperative.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable.Major responsibilities include assisting to maintain all plumbing systems under a plumber, assisting with services needed for plumbing such as repairing water leaks, replacing pipes, equipment, fixtures, and irrigation systems, performing all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others, and performing other related duties as assigned.Equipment used includes district vehicle, two-way radio, backhoe, trenching machine, rooter rotor, cordless/power hand tools, and soldering torch.
