Apprentice Mold Maker / ToolmakerMatrix Plastic Products is looking for a motivated, hands-on Apprentice Mold Maker / Toolmaker to join our plastic injection molding team in our brand new Bloomingdale facility. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced mold makers to learn the skills of the trade while assisting in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of precision molds and mold components used in our manufacturing operations. As an apprentice, you'll gain valuable, hands-on experience performing essential mold-making tasks, ensuring molds meet strict quality and performance standards through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
In addition to on-the-job training, you'll participate in a structured apprenticeship program coordinated through the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA), providing classroom instruction and industry-recognized training to support your career growth.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include manufacturing mold components utilizing various shop equipment and mold maintenance/repair.
