Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Overview

Seeking two Apprentice Carpenters to support the renovation and conversion of motel units into apartment residences. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of interior construction and remodeling tasks while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced construction environment.

The ideal candidate will have some previous construction experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Successful employees will work alongside experienced craftsmen and assist with various phases of the renovation process to help keep the project moving efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drywall hanging and finishing

• Perform framing and layout work

• Install handrails and other finish carpentry components

• Support bathroom renovation projects

• Hang wall panels and other building materials

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials as directed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all job site safety requirements

• Complete additional carpentry and construction-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry or general construction experience preferred

• Ability to use and read a tape measure accurately

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials throughout the workday

• Dependable transportation to and from the job site

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

Required Tools

Employees must provide:

• Basic hand tools

• Tape measure

• Pencil

All additional tools, equipment, and materials will be provided on site.

PPE Requirements

• Hard hat

• Safety glasses

• Gloves

• Work boots

• Standard construction PPE

Screening Requirements

• Background check required

• 4-panel drug screen required (THC/Marijuana is acceptable)
