Applied Anthropology: Tech & Material Culture Expert

San José State University’s Anthropology Department invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Applied Anthropology with a focus on technology and material culture. Starting August 2027, the hire will develop and teach courses, supervise students, and build an active research program at the intersection of archaeology, cultural anthropology, and AI/data science.
