Designing and deploying AI-driven applications, the full-time Applied AI Scientist will transform geospatial data into actionable insights while working remotely. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications that leverage large-scale geospatial data Build and operate end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, and production inference Productionize reasoning models and multimodal AI systems, optimizing for scalability and reliability Required qualifications MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments Hands-on experience with deep learning models, particularly in vision-language models and multimodal learning Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in modern ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow Experience deploying models into production using modern cloud infrastructure and containerized systems
