Applied AI Scientist

Designing and developing AI-driven applications, the full-time Applied AI Scientist will transform large-scale geospatial data into actionable insights and predictive intelligence while working remotely. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications that analyze and generate insights from large geospatial datasets Build and operate end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, training, and production inference Collaborate with domain experts and product teams to translate complex Earth intelligence challenges into deployable AI solutions Required qualifications MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments Hands-on experience with end-to-end ML pipelines and deep learning models, including vision-language models and multimodal learning Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX Experience deploying models into production using modern cloud infrastructure and containerized systems
