To support the development of an advanced GeoAI platform, the full-time Applied AI/ML Engineer will design, build, and maintain AI systems for geospatial analysis, focusing on computer vision and LLM-driven workflows in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Design and implement agentic AI systems that automate the geospatial analysis cycle from question intake to report generation Train and deploy computer vision models, ensuring their accuracy and reliability through comprehensive evaluation and testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective AI solutions Required qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM field 4-6 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning systems Strong proficiency in Python and production software engineering practices, including Git and Docker Experience with deep learning models for computer vision tasks using frameworks like PyTorch Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications and evaluating ML systems using appropriate metrics
