Location: NYC or San Diego preferred - 100% remote

About the Project

This client has applications that are used by clients and customers that sell in houses developed applications to other banks. This person is responsible for patching an application by writing new code and applying it to all of the other products it effects.

About the Environment

• GCP
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Python/Ruby/Bash
• Firewalls and many other tools and practices for layered security

Required Qualifications

• 5+ combined years of SecOps and DevOps.
• AWS, GCP, or similar platforms
• Self-sufficiency
• Development and scripting experience with languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, Go, and bash.
• Knowledge of some configuration orchestration and configuration management tools.

Required Skills: -DevOps/DevSecOps background -Understand Application Security Protocols -Cloud experience - GCP is their current platform, but AWS/Azure experience will work, too -Java OR Ruby experience (will NOT be building applications from scratch, but understanding Java/Ruby to make code fixes/adjustments/understand what may be wrong with the code) -Kubernetes experience - MUST HAVE - will not be deploying applications to Kubernetes, but will be working with applications within Kubernetes containers -Terraform (basic knowledge) -Configuration Management
