Application Programmer IIIThis role is for an experienced manager responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services. The primary responsibility is people management, including coaching, mentoring, and career development.
The role involves developing technology strategy, ensuring compliance with standards, and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the refinement of stories and technical requirements for AI agent use-cases, orchestration workflows, and deterministic automation capabilities.Participate in and guide the estimation of work for both agentic and deterministic automation implementations.Perform spikes, proofs of concept, and technical experiments to reduce delivery risk and validate design choices.Design, code, and review solution components and unit tests in accordance with acceptance criteria and engineering standards.Build and enhance reusable components for AI-enabled workflows, agent interactions, and integration with enterprise tools.Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, workflow, and automation layers.Resolve complex technical issues related to integration, orchestration, execution logic, and runtime reliability.Contribute to and improve test suites, analyze results, and help remediate defects.Document and communicate required information for the deployment, maintenance, and support of developed solutions.Mentor less senior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.Required QualificationsTechnical Skills: Application design, Python, SDLC knowledge.ExperienceDeveloping complex software or automation solutions that translate business requirements into technical capabilities.Advanced programming and scripting skills in languages for software engineering, API development, and automation.Working across both AI-enabled use-cases and deterministic automation patterns.Designing and building reusable components, services, and integration patterns.Workflow orchestration, execution control, and task sequencing.Contributing to AI agent or workflow-based solutions.Software development lifecycle practices including design, coding, code review, testing, version control, and release management.CI/CD practices and supporting build, test, and release workflows.Interpreting and refining functional and non-functional requirements into technical solutions.Mentoring less senior engineers and contributing to technical standards.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
