Production Support EngineerWe are seeking a Production Support Engineer to support critical applications within the Market Risk domain. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of production systems while partnering closely with business, development, and infrastructure teams in a fast-paced, global environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for business users, responding to and resolving production-related queriesProvide end-to-end production support, including feed and batch monitoring, alert management, and issue resolutionManage incident lifecycle, including triage, escalation, and communication to stakeholdersMonitor system health using enterprise tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, ITRS) and proactively identify issuesCollaborate with development teams to investigate root causes and implement long-term fixesUtilize tools such as JIRA, ITSM platforms, and monitoring systems for tracking, reporting, and updatesMaintain and enhance documentation and knowledge base resourcesSupport batch scheduling and job management processes (e.g., Autosys)Produce and analyze operational metrics and reportsCoordinate and execute Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery testingLead and facilitate issue resolution calls and stakeholder discussionsIdentify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiencyMust-Haves10+ years of experience in Application or Production SupportStrong experience in SQL for troubleshooting and data analysisHands-on experience with UNIX/Linux environmentsKnowledge of incident, problem, and change management (ITIL framework)Working knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace)Knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Autosys or Bob jobs or similarExperience using ticketing and workflow tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow/ITSM platforms)Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of Python scriptingWhat Gets the Win?Experience in the Financial Services industryMarket Risk or Trading environment experience
