Job Description / Responsibilities
- The APM Data Steward is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all entries within the Application Portfolio Management (APM) system of record.
- This role ensures that all application data is validated, consistently aligned to enterprise standards, and vetted with the appropriate technology and governance teams prior to any updates or changes.
- The position plays a critical role in enabling effective technology asset lifecycle management, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee all records within the APM system of record, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Regularly review application entries for currency, alignment with taxonomy (application categories, business services, technical services), and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Monitor for duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records and take corrective actions.
- Review and validate requests for new entries, updates, or decommissioning of applications.
- Partner with technology owners, application owners, and governance stakeholders to ensure proposed changes are vetted, approved, and aligned with enterprise processes.
- Ensure changes adhere to Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) structures.
- Act as the primary liaison between Application Owners, Technology Owners, ServiceNow platform teams, and ETAM Governance.
- Provide guidance on APM standards, data entry requirements, and compliance expectations.
- Support periodic reviews with risk, compliance, and audit teams.
