We are seeking an experienced Application Management Specialist to develop and implement scalable solutions supporting clients migrating and transforming from commodity hardware to Oracle Exastack.
This role involves partnering with sales teams for pre-sales activities, collaborating with internal teams and customers to resolve operational issues, and leading delivery of Exastack-specific engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions for Oracle Exastack migrations and transformations.>
- Partner with Sales teams to support pre-sales activities, including drafting proposals, effort estimations, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve operational issues for Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, Exalogic, Super Clusters).
- Lead delivery of Exastack-specific engagements leveraging extensive Oracle implementation experience.
- Engage Oracle’s sales, alliance, and product teams to develop joint solutions and go-to-market strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience across the enterprise data center stack (hardware to application layer) at a major consulting firm or systems integrator.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience conceptualizing and architecting target environments for Oracle Exastack.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting professional services sales cycles, including proposal development and RFP responses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 80%. Preferred location: East Coast or Midwest.
