Building and evolving wildfire resilience and utilities platforms, the full-time remote Application Engineer will design, develop, and deploy full-stack features using Elixir/Phoenix/LiveView, JavaScript, and Postgres, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance decision support applications for community protection and land management. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and ship full-stack features across the core wildfire resilience platform and utilities applications Work with large geospatial datasets to provide insights for forest planning and treatment outcomes Own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and iteration based on user feedback Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications Proficiency in Elixir, including OTP Proficiency with relational databases (Postgres preferred) and SQL, including schema design and query optimization Demonstrated ability to ship features end-to-end in a collaborative environment Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
