Contract Based Application Developer/Technical QA AnalystLocation: Boston, MassachusettsHire Type: Contract (6 MONTHS)Client: State of MASkills Needed: Unit testing, JIRA, ticket tracking system, Conduent Maven modeling, release procedures, coding design, documentation protocol, change management procedures, software development team, Maven modeling, DYS’s Juvenile Justice Enterprise Management Systems (JJEMS)Detailed List Of Job Duties And Responsibilities: Assess and analyze the business environment to define the scope of the business problems, capturing project requirements, designing value solution approaches, and ensuring that the defined scope meets the customer’s needs, goals, objectives, and expectationsAnalyzes, designs, customizes, and implements programs, systems, and procedures to meet complex requirements and specificationsCode solutions using Conduent’s Maven modelling toolPerform Quality Assurance on DYS systemsCollaborate and liaison with multiple business stakeholders and JJEMS project team to design, develop, and deploy new enhancements or improved application processes that will satisfy the business user and conform to supportable, scalable solutionsWork with other business analysts and quality assurance analysts on the development team to identify appropriate plan for issue resolutionAssist with code deploymentsAssist with Production Support issuesDiagnose application, infrastructure, and technology issues using various resources; define an appropriate solution; support the resolution; and document the incident recordQualifications: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management proceduresFamiliarity with JIRA or other ticket tracking systemKnowledge and understanding of application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, implementation and production support5+ years in an IT role on a software development teamExperience with Conduent Maven modeling, a plusExperience with DYS’s Juvenile Justice Enterprise Management Systems (JJEMS)
