Application DeveloperHybrid roleRole Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated application developer with experience in Appian, BPM or web development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Appian platform across the front-end UI/UX to back-end databases and process modeling.Role Objectives:Delivery: Works to build and maintain a variety of software applications, tools, or functions for the business.Compiles business requirements and translates them into technical specifications for development.Maintain documentation for code, processes, and systems.Supports QA testing and implement fixes for exceptions.Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.Ensure security and data protection compliance across applications.Qualifications and Skills:3+ years of experience in Appian or full stack developmentStrong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworksHands-on development experience with SQL Server or other relational databasesKnowledge of SQL programming and ability to write and simplify complex queries, improve query performance, etc.Design and implement RESTful APIsFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesStrong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesTeam player with positive attitude and strong work ethicExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SAIL, Records, Integrations, WebAPIs in AppianExperience with Flask, PythonProfessional experience working in Investment Banking is preferredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
