Application ArchitectGenesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role focuses on designing and implementing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions to support an Oracle Cloud ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in OCI design, develop migration strategies for on-premise and cloud-based applications, and ensure the new cloud environment meets business objectives for cost, performance, and security.Responsibilities:Provide expertise in the establishment of OCI design and implementation strategies and environment management best practicesAssess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and applicationsDevelop comprehensive migration strategies and execute plans to seamlessly transition them to OCIDesign and implement Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions to support the Oracle Cloud ERP implementationDesign and develop OCI cloud strategies aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as cost, performance, scalability, and securityAdvise and work with ERP implementation teams, DevOps engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth integration and delivery of cloud-based solutionsImplement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threatsEnsure OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements, implementing security controls, encryption, and access management measures as necessaryDevelop and maintain disaster recovery plans and mechanisms to ensure business continuity, with a special emphasis on data integrityRequirements:Proven expertise in OCI design, implementation strategies, and environment management best practicesExperience assessing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure and applicationsAbility to develop and execute comprehensive migration strategies to OCIExperience designing and implementing OCI solutions to support Oracle Cloud ERPSkilled in developing OCI cloud strategies aligned with business objectives (cost, performance, scalability, security)Experience working with ERP implementation teams, DevOps, and IT operationsKnowledge of implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCIPay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
