Methodology Skills and Experience
- Agile (Safe Agile) experience strongly preferred.
Advanced Solution Design and System Integration Architecture experience including:
- Development of Architectural Guiding Principles, Viewpoints and Patterns
- Conducting Architecture Reviews to assess compliance and adoption of these things.
- Assessing Vendor/Product/Technology Suitability in a given business context
- Designing Systems with High Availability achieved through Resiliency Designs and Predefined Degraded Modes of Operation
- Java, OpenJDK, Spring Framework
- Cloud Hosting: AWS (primary), GCP (secondary, nice to have)
- Familiar with Standards and Best Practices around DevOps / SecDevOps

Business Domain Experience
- Direct experience with or strong knowledge of the FinTech Services industry (retirement, banking, insurance) including Core Products and their Legal/Compliance/Regulatory requirements
Responsibilities
- Document emerging Application Architecture Patterns and assist AppDev Teams with their adoption.
- Conduct Conceptual Architecture and Logical Architecture Reviews.
- Identify new and emerging Patterns for Pattern Library inclusion
