Adjunct Faculty, Lab Assistant, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)The MRI Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for conducting class in the lab setting, visiting students in the clinical setting, providing remediation to students and maintains communication with the faculty and program director.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of the MRI program goals and objectives. Knowledge of the course material as present in course text. Knowledge of procedures, protocols and practices relating to MRICapable of manipulating MR equipment and accessories to produce diagnostic images. Capable of working effectively with studentsAbility to be organized, punctual and professional. Effectively communicates with students and peers.Essential Functions:Provides supervision and remediation to enrolled students in the MRI lab settingEvaluates student progress and communicates such with program facultyMonitors the lab facilities to ensure student compliance with departmental proceduresMaintains the lab facilities regarding organization, cleanliness, supplies, etcCompletes projects that support the Medical Imaging Department as assigned by the Department Chair / Assistant ChairOther Characteristics:Approaches students, peer faculty and others with a positive attitude. Experience in teaching preferred.
