Electronic Express is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Appliance Installer. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing high-quality installation services and ensuring customer satisfaction. As an Appliance Installer, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. Please note, this is an on-site job and cannot be performed remotely.

The role involves comprehensive handling, installation, and testing of various home appliances. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all installations are performed accurately and efficiently, adhering to company standards and safety regulations. This position offers a great opportunity to develop technical skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Proper loading, handling, and use of equipment needed to safely complete installations with zero damage to product or property.
• Maintaining daily paperwork and documentation of work performed.
• Proper tracking and documentation of daily routes through a smart phone program.
• Complete installation, testing of the appliance, and removal of all packaging material from the appliance and jobsite.
• Maintain proper communication between customers and the installation department to ensure all work orders are completed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Ability to manage time effectively to maintain the daily installation schedule.
• Assess installation sites to ensure all necessary preparations are made and safety measures are in place.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving customer concerns promptly.
• Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills and adhere to industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the efficiency and quality of service.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines during installations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely drive a 26’ delivery truck.
• Ability to arrive on time with reliable transportation to and from work.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge necessary for appliance installation.
• Experience installing various types of household appliances.
• Able to work some weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
