Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Appian Integration Developer will design, develop, and maintain integrations between the Appian platform and Department of Veterans Affairs source systems, working remotely within the continental US. Key responsibilities Collaborate with project leads to manage integration architecture and technical specifications throughout the service development lifecycle Lead the design and development of system and data integrations between VA source systems and the Appian platform Develop secure connections to external systems using REST, SOAP, and related integration technologies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, with at least two years of relevant IT experience At least two years of experience with Appian application delivery and enterprise application integration Experience designing and implementing REST and SOAP web services and integrations with microservice endpoints Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, XML, and SQL, along with experience using application servers such as JBoss or Tomcat Experience implementing integrations in AWS using services such as Lambda and S3
