The Embedded Finance Team is seeking an Automation Engineer with a passion for designing and building automation solutions that drive efficiency and scale in a Fintech environment. This role will have an automation design and build focus as it relates to developing automation flows and orchestrating processes across the platform. The right candidate will pair strong technical engineering skills with an understanding of how automation delivers business value. This is a fast-paced environment working with industry-leading Fintechs and innovative financial institutions to provide next-generation payments platforms to the market.
What you will do:

Design, build, and maintain automation flows that support large-scale enterprise processes.
Develop and optimize workflow automations to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Integrate with existing enterprise solutions through various methodologies including API, MCP, UI Path, TerraForm, etc.
Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and technical documentation.
Work with API standards and integration methods to connect automated workflows across systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

What you will need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in business related field.
3+ years professional experience in an automation engineering role
Experience with modeling / diagramming tools such as Visio or similar
Experience using AI tools for productivity and agentic flows

What would be great to have:

Experience in Appian workflow development
Financial Services domain experience
Experience in TerraForm, UI_Path, and Claude Code
