Appian DeveloperResponsibilities:• Design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.• Maintain and enhance existing applications, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.• Stay updated with the latest Appian features and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.• Document development processes, application configurations, and technical specifications for future reference.Mandatory Skills:• Strong expertise in Appian Application Development, including experience with Appian Designer, Process Modeler, and Appian Records.• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.• Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques.• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Skills:• Experience with other low code platforms or BPM tools.• Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies.• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.• Experience in leading small development teams or mentoring junior developers.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.• 12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Appian Application Development.• Relevant certifications in Appian or software development methodologies are a plus.
