To support a mission-critical federal program, the full-time Appian Data Architect will design and implement scalable, secure data solutions for enterprise applications on the Appian platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Design and maintain scalable data architectures for complex enterprise applications Develop data models and optimize relational database solutions to enhance application performance Collaborate with technical teams to establish data governance standards and troubleshoot integration issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience in software development, application architecture, or data architecture Significant experience with relational database technologies and SQL performance optimization Experience designing integrations using APIs and web services for enterprise applications Familiarity with the Appian platform or similar low-code/BPM solutions
