Seeking a part-time Appian Architect, the candidate will support Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities for a federal grants management system, focusing on assessing technical architecture, cloud infrastructure, and application quality in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities Review Appian architecture, configuration, performance, and release documentation Evaluate AWS cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, and operational readiness Identify technical risks, document findings, and recommend corrective actions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical architecture, IV&V, or quality assurance Experience with Appian, including Appian Cloud, application architecture, and release management Experience reviewing AWS cloud environments, preferably within FedRAMP or regulated environments Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies
