Duties
- Research and analyze complex legal issues in state and federal courts.
- Draft appellate briefs, petitions, and other appellate filings.
- Prepare and argue dispositive and evidentiary motions.
- Develop legal strategy with trial teams throughout litigation phases.
- Advise on evolving case law and procedural issues.
- Support trial teams with complex legal questions.
- Collaborate on high-profile product liability and commercial litigation matters.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3+ years of appellate practice or advanced motions experience.
- Demonstrated appellate advocacy experience preferred.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Experience with complex motions in state and federal courts.
- Understanding of procedural and appellate rules.
- Experience in product liability or complex civil litigation preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills.
Education
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
