Apparel Production ManagerDo you enjoy Formula 1? Then you're in luck!We are seeking an experienced and proactive Apparel Production Manager to lead production for a high-volume apparel division serving major retail accounts. In this leadership role, you will oversee the full production lifecycle from development through delivery, ensuring product quality, on-time execution, and margin optimization across multiple large-scale programs.

This is not a remote position. This position reports into the SVP of Consumer Products.Responsibilities:Oversee the full production lifecycle from development through delivery ensuring product quality, on-time execution, and margin optimization across multiple large-scale programsLead and manage the production calendar, ensuring all key milestones are met across multiple programsOversee vendor capacity planning and workload distribution to align with order volume and delivery timelinesPartner cross-functionally with Graphic Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, and Sales to execute seasonal strategiesNegotiate cost, delivery terms, and production lead times with factories to achieve margin goalsAnticipate and resolve production challenges, identifying risks and implementing proactive solutions to maintain quality and deadlinesTrack and approve lab dips, strike-offs, trims, fit samples, and TOPsEnsure all production and testing standards meet retailer compliance and packaging requirementsMonitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement in speed, cost efficiency, and product qualityCollaborate with Compliance and Logistics teams to ensure smooth handoff, booking, and deliveryQualifications:7+ years of experience in apparel production, with a strong focus on private label or major retail / club programsIn-depth knowledge of strict sustainability compliance, testing, and delivery requirementsProven ability to manage multiple vendors and large seasonal orders simultaneouslyExceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skillsStrong negotiation and vendor relationship management abilitiesPLM experience requiredProficient in Excel and familiar with production calendars and costing toolsExperience managing or mentoring a teamWork Environment:Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMust be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.Equal Employment OpportunityInsomniac strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of age, ancestry, color, religious creed, family and medical care leave, mental or physical disability, marital status, domestic partner status, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, political affiliation, national origin, race, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, intersectionality, or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
