Responsibilities
- Provide patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Perform patient assessments, diagnosis & treatment plans, physical examinations, consultations, patient counseling/education, family planning, and well-woman exams
- Order and interpret patient care tests, treatments and examinations
- Handle prescription needs, provide advice regarding chronic pain problems, general health education, and coordination of care
Education & Licensure
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and passage of a board-approved certifying exam
- Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona
Experience
- One year of experience in Cardiology is required
