Advanced Practitioners
Graduate of a master's prepared Nurse Practitioner program. Graduate of an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) approved Physician Assistant training program. Current license as a Nurse Practitioner from the West Virginia Board of Nursing. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or; Current license as a Physician Assistant by the WV Board of Medicine. Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Must be credentialed according to Mon Health's Medical Staff bylaws and appointed as Allied Health Professional Affiliate Staff. Must possess or obtain basic life support (BLS) certification within the probationary period and maintain certification. Must possess or obtain advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) within one year of employment start and maintain certification.
