Role : Apigee Engineer
Location: Louisville KY (Remote)
Job Description - Required Skills
1. Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms like APIGEE Hybrid, Apigee X
2. Proficient in developing APIs in APIGEE, troubleshooting API failures
3. Experience with tools like Postman, JMeter etc.
4. Good understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service Technologies (SOAP, REST), OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, JWT,SSO implementation, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, KVM, Caching
5. Good understanding of implementation of CI/CD pipeline for Apigee
6. Expertise in Kubernetes to automate application deployment, scaling and management
7. Experience with containerization
8. Experience with any Source Control Tools such as Bitbucket, Git Hub etc.
9. Experienced with languages such as Python, Go, Bash and/or PowerShell.
10. Solid understanding of AGILE principals and methodologies, with experience in the SCRUM and SAFe frameworks
11. Extensive hands-on experience in Enterprise API Management and Integration Platforms such as APIGEE Hybrid and Apigee X.
12. Hands-on cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP) building effective cloud technology solutions
13. Experience in cloud architecture (cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, security, costing).
