Pay Range: $40 - $49/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
  • Test FHIR REST APIs (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE).
  • Validate FHIR resources such as Patient, Practitioner, Encounter, Observation, Coverage, Claim, and ExplanationOfBenefit.
  • Verify request/response payloads against FHIR standards and implementation guides.
  • Perform API functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate OAuth 2.0, SMART-on-FHIR authentication, and authorization workflows.
  • Create and execute test cases using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Analyze JSON/XML payloads and troubleshoot data mapping issues.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and healthcare SMEs to ensure compliance.

Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR R4/R5 standards.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Insomnia, or SoapUI.
  • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
  • Experience with healthcare data standards: HL7 v2, CDA, X12 (preferred).
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management tools like JIRA.
