Short JD – API Automation Testing Lead (SDET)

Location: Irving, TX / Jacksonville, FL / Tampa, FL

Experience: 10+ years

We are looking for a senior API Automation Testing Lead with strong Java, API automation, and test framework development experience, preferably in Banking and Financial Services, especially Fraud Analytics and Reporting platforms.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong Java programming and API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate.
  • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Expertise in REST APIs, microservices, integration testing, and API contract testing.
  • Strong SQL, database validation, ETL, and analytics/reporting testing skills.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Banking domain experience, particularly fraud detection, transaction monitoring, risk management, and fraud reporting.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Kafka, or cloud platforms is a plus.
